Fr Steve Rice
Father Steve Rice has been the rector of St Timothy's Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina since 2008.
Ordained a priest in 2005, Fr Rice has a BA in Psychology from Erskine College, a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a Doctor of Ministry (liturgics) from Nashotah House Theological Seminary, and is currently studying at St Stephen’s House, Oxford (MA, 2026).
He is a Priest Associate of the Holy House of Our Lady of Walsingham, former president of the Society of King Charles the Martyr (USA), and Secretary of the Society of Mary. He is also a member of the Guild of All Souls and the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. He is also an Oblate of St Benedict attached to St John's Abbey in Collegeville, MN. In 2021, he was invested in The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem and was promoted to the grade of officer in 2024. He is a priest of the Society of the Holy Cross.
He established the Society of St Joseph of Arimathea in 2016 and the Abraham Project in 2011. He is a board member of the Our Lady of Salem Shelter for Women.
He has been married to Cherilyn and together they have three children, Abigail, Walker, and Luke.
